3.2.1 - Design Kit & Methodology

Program focus
This Program is aimed at giving an overview of the complete design flow of a semi-conductor circuit, from specification to layout and mask making. All the design steps are presented with their associated tools. The technology challenges in the design domain are outlined, and the necessity to manipulate higher abstraction levels to meet the requirements of today’s System-On-Chip is emphasized.
Labs are available to demonstrate the detailed implementation of 2 simple test case (digital and analog)

3.2.2 - Design Validation

Program focus
This course gives an overview of most of the techniques that are applied in IC verification. Starting from RTL verification up to physical design. It covers the methodologies and strategies used in the definition and implementation of a verification plan.

Program focus
This 18-hour course provides the basics of hardware description languages through practical simulations.
