SPIN department offers training programmes to technicians and engineers from industry or state agencies in various fields of Chemical Engineering:

	instrumentation and microsystems
	metrology and control of the environment
	reactivity of solids
	structural and textural characterization of powders
	methods of thermal analysis

In 2002, the internships given related to UV spectrometry, the characterization of material structure, x-ray interactions with material, quality guarantee, the measurement of air pollution, initiation to numerical instrumentation, chemical metrology and physical methods of analysis, powder characterization and reactivity of solids.
