The research activities of the SPIN Department are carried out in nine research areas:

	Electrical properties of solids and device design
	Adsorption and adsorbents
	Industrial crystallization
	Organic-inorganic multicomponent materials
	Interactions between fluids and mineral materials
	Thermohydraulics and industrial safety
	Biotransformations/ Biomedical engineering

Programmes 1 to 6 are the main competencies of CNRS lab LPMG. Programme 7 is the basic topic of the geochemistry group.
