The GasHyDyn Team
at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de St-Etienne has based its
reasearches on the understanding of the kinetics of the gas hydrates crystallization
and the coupling with flowing.

in the scientific support of projects between industrial partners, institutions
and universities.
We develop customized
experimental facilities : particle sizers,
tank reactors and loop reactors.
We initiate and support
some fundamentals works connected
to theses subjects.
We participate to the transfer of technolog in different industrial application :
Gas hydrate prevention in deep-sea pipeline.
Hydrate dissociation in plugs
or sediments.
Techniques for in
line particle sizing: spectral turbidimetry, backscattered light analysis,
cords length measurements.
