Synopsis
This course is constructed on the two main public-key cryptosystems. On the one hand RSA is currently the most used but has some weaknesses and on the other hand elliptic curve cryptosystems become more and more popular. The course is illustrated by 4 sessions on computers. During this course, students will acquire a good knowledge of the public-key cryptography and a solid formation on the two cryptosystems used currently and probably during the next decade (and even more).
