1.  What constitutes intelligence ?
 
2.  How can we be sure that the android is truly intelligent ?
 
3.  Will we be able to control its actions ?
 
4.  If it is intelligent then it ought to be able to display some level of judgment and discrimination ; what if its judgments don’t match ours ? What do we do then ?
 
5.  If an android performs an action that results in the death of a person is it guilty of murder ? or is its owner ?
 
6.  If a human being injures or destroys an android is he or she guilty of murder or merely vandalism ?

As androids approach the level of intelligence and capacities of human beings even more questions come to mind :
1.  Can you own one ? Isn’t that slavery ? Why or why not ?
2.  Do androids have feelings ?
3.  Do androids feel pain ?
4.  Will it be legal to turn off an android ? If so when ?
5.  How will the development of a functioning, intelligent android affect religion ?
6.  Do they have souls ? Can we tell one way or another ?
7.  What would happen if  one of them wanted to be a minister or even the Pope ?
8.   Will we let them strike for better working conditions ?
9.  How will we draw the line between person and machine ?
10.  Will they form their own society ? Will this affect our own ?
