Dear Mama,
Sorry I missed you when I was in town.. As you know
from the message on your bleeglefriz, I tried
to glog , but you’d already left for your
cruise. Hope you had a good time.
I’m writing this on the trazzle,
using the sippafiz Myra gave me for my birthday. It’s really something;
when I was in college there was only one tweedler
for the whole campus, and it was nowhere near as powerful as this. I haven’t
decided yet whether to zilp it to you from
the kinkup ( I have to change trazzles
in Minneapolis) or wait and show off how good I can make a letter look
with my fresenoodle.
Might as well wait, I guess; I’ll be back home in San
Francisco by dinnertime, and you’ll still be away.
( When are you going to get fooha,
by the way?) The reason I was in New York was the national conference on
gleedical
fizzleworp. Stimulating, but this business travel’s getting to be
too much. I’ve racked up over 20,000 miles this month alone! Next month
I have to go to London. It’ll be first trip on the PFP, so it will just
take a few hours, but I wonder if that will make the galjep
even worse.
I’ve been in touch with my old roomy, Roy Golden, on the
suplet.
He finally got his heart transplant and is doing fine. He’s planning to
open a new museum of snizzlelosophy next month.
On the home front, Pete sliced his thumb clean off in
his workshop, but they put it back on and it works almost as good as new.
Emily is scheduled to be born June 12, and the sambaloon
and doodleburp say she’s doing fine.
Well the pilot just told us to shut off all ditterdeeps
in preperation for terwilkening so I’ll close
for now. It’ll be good to have a few days at home. I just hope I have enough
energy to pop something in the nutzeneck when
I get there!
Love,
William
