Questions for a Holiday in the Future.

Where would you be able to go?

Are there golf courses there? And how would golf at the end of the next century be different than today? Don't forget the other sports as well: tennis, horseback riding, skiing, snowmobiling, etc.

Rivers, streams, lakes and oceans, what new uses if any will they be put to? After all, white water rafting, scuba diving, etc. didn't exist two hundred or so years ago?

Currency, will it exist? How will you pay? Is there a Universal Currency or Ultimate Currency Converter? How can you locate the nearest ATM machine?

Food and beverages, I mean there wasn't a big mac and fries in 1899? Let's not forget to include a restaurant or two.

What if any medical precautions should you take?

Travel laws, will there be any travel restrictions in 2099?

Educational opportunities? Travel and study have been combined in a number of interesting ways recently. This trend may continue. How so?

Political dangers, embargoes, etc. How likely is a social or political revolution in our vacation climes? Terrorist protection?

Foreign Language Centers may take on a whole new meaning in a Science Fiction Universe.

Expatriate exchanges, if you are going off world then perhaps a list of  human embassies or organizations is a good idea for traveling.

Passports, Visas, and Travel documents anyone?

Do you have a daily weather report? For when all said and done, you will be creating a html document and things like animation are expected.

Speaking of reports, how about the news? CNN often advertises that they are on cruise ships and the like, what effect on travel ads might 21st century news broadcasters have. BBC World takes on a different slant.

Student rates, youth hostels, old foggy prices, business class, first class, how will services and clubs change?

Maps, guide books, you will still need to know how to get around won't you? Subway systems, auto routes, bus schedules, airports will they still be there?

Film festivals? Conferences? The Olympic Games? How might they change?

Artificial sites, lots of people travel to Club Med or Disney sites. Will this continue? How so?

Business and travel, this is getting more popular each year and in the year 2099?

Hotels, motels, camping areas, bed and breakfast, need I say more?

Shopping in the Twenty First Century should be like nothing we do today?

Rip-off artists, scams for fleecing the tourist, will there be any travel warnings or police organizations to
safeguard tourists?
