What are its activities ?

1) The Circle organizes (on average two or three times a year) a one day scientific seminar, often at the Ecole des Mines. The program and synopsis of the latest ones can be found by clicking on ‘Conferences since 2010’ in the documentation tab.

The Circle’s “Bulletins” publish an account of the proceedings. Since 2015, they have been available in digital format.

2) The Circle organizes training courses, in order to respond to the precise needs of a firm. In most cases, they deal with the properties of metals (often steel) in relation with their microstructure.

3) The Group offers technical support and advice to industry. It often intervenes on questions of choice of steel grades, surface treatments and problems of corrosion resistance. Preferential conditions are given to companies affiliated to the Circle.
