Research

I am Professor of computer science at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne in Institut Henri Fayol. I lead the ISI department and I am a member of Laboratoire d’Informatique, de Modélisation et d’Optimisation des Systèmes.

Domains of study

My research is in the field of the Semantic Web. I am especially interested in systems, models, formalisms, algorithms, applications that aim at exploiting multiple sources of information, in a broad sense. This applies to:

• Knowledge representation (combining multiples ontologies, multi-context knowledge)
• Linked Data / the Web of Data, distributed data management and querying, federated queries
• Facilitating multi-agent collaboration over the Web via KR and Linked Data
